Description of Works:

Atmac Construction. are employed as the Main Civils Contractor on this greenfield project, carrying out all the earthworks, groundworks, construction, and civils works.

Scope of works include:

Earthworks – large cut and fill operations, stockpiling on site, and haulage off-site

Drainage Works – Storm and Foul water drainage for the entire site including the warehouse, ancillary office, and staff facilities. This will involve connections to existing services as well as construction of new drainage networks, manholes, access chambers and associated. Construction of proposed pump house, water tank and storm water attenuation tanks to aid with Storm Water filtration and utility.

Provision of a new asphalt finished vehicular, pedestrian and cyclist entrance off the main Food Central access road, new asphalt finished internal roadways with 69 no. ancillary car parking spaces, bicycle parking, HGV parking spaces, trailer parking spaces, and van parking spaces. Precast and In-Situ concrete kerbs will be installed around the perimeter of the site and to either side of the roadways.

Installation of HGV Weighbridge and associated concrete foundation.

Lighting, signage and associated site development works above and below ground.

Hard and soft landscaping, paving and fencing.
